Journey to the Self:
Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training
This isn’t just a training to teach yoga.
It’s a call inward. A return. A remembering.
At Total Practice, our 9-month Yoga Teacher Training is a slow, intentional journey back home to yourself. Yes, you’ll learn how to teach—how to sequence, how to cue, how to hold space with integrity. But more than that, you’ll be invited to explore the deeper layers of yoga—the ones that don’t show up on Instagram but live in your breath, your beliefs, and the way you move through the world.
Because teaching yoga isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
It’s about practicing what you preach, even when it’s messy.
It’s about learning how to hold space for others because you’ve finally learned how to hold space for yourself.
This training is for you if:
You’re craving a deeper relationship with your practice (and with yourself)
You want to understand yoga beyond the poses—through philosophy, breath, energetics, and nervous system regulation
You believe that yoga should be inclusive, healing, and rooted in connection—not competition
You’re interested in trauma-informed teaching, personal growth, and leading from a place of authenticity
What makes this training different:
Small group format for deep connection and personalized support
Trauma-informed foundation woven through every module
Real-world teaching practice (because confidence grows through doing)
Holistic, whole-self approach integrating philosophy, breath, movement, and self-inquiry
Monthly themes tied to the chakras and developmental psychology for deep integration
Enjoy space for meaningful connection and integration.
You’re invited to slow down and have space to be with yourself and the teachings of yoga. The 200 hours of training will be split between classes, immersions, 1:1 mentorship, and book club style discussions. Each month, you’ll participate in:

You don’t need to be the most flexible, the most experienced, or the most “put together.” You just need to be willing to show up. For yourself. For your growth. For the path ahead.
We believe the best teachers are the ones still learning.
And the best classrooms are the ones that feel like coming home.
Let this be the beginning of your next chapter.
Your seat is already waiting.
The next training begins March 2026. If you’d like to be a part of this experience, please let us know by emailing at the link below. We’ll be in touch with more information soon.
